People from different countries, who want to understand mysterious Russian soul, always eagerly visit the Golden Ring, Kazan, Moscow, Sankt-Petersburg, Sochi, Velikij Novgorod, Karelia.

There are many places of interest in Moscow. Different museums and art galleries, hiking in the center of ancient city will not get you bored for a minute. Unique architecture of this eternal city influences greatly and it’s impossible to stay indifferent while seen Kremlin and St. Basil's Cathedral. Come and make sure yourself.

Sankt-Petersburg, the first capital of Russian Empire, astonishes with its palaces. They really seem as stiffed in stone music. Its drawbridges for years attract attention of all who visit the city. The most world’s famous art gallery Hermitage is situated in Piter, as local people call it. In Leningrad Region tourist like to see Lipetsk, Kronstadt, Viborg, go to Karelia. Karelia is a region not very far from capitals, where the nature is still primordial. Winter tale – these words are about this fairy area.

Lake Baikal is a world pearl

Baikal is the greatest world reserve of clean drinking water. The lake was formed nearly 25 million years ago. Now it is very attractive winter resort for those, who like active holidays. There are trips on high-speed amphibian boat on an air cushion on the ice of Baikal. Also different helicopter tours, amazing ice diving, hunting and fishing, visiting the ancient caves are proposed.

Here everyone can see such the natural attractions as Olkhon Island, Sandy Bay, Shaman's Stone, Devil’s Finger, Petroglyphs, Mount Yord. It was wild nature, that presented Baikal the most various and astonishing sights.

There’s no rest like mountaineering

Russia is famous for it’s mountains. For example, Elbrus region in The Caucasus Mountains attract travelers, tourists and climbers. One of the highest mountain is Elbrus, it rises on 5642 meters. In ancient times the mountain was a volcano, but now it is sleeping. But such origination makes it to look almost as right cone. According to the legends, Elbrus is called a mountain of Gods, the father of all mountains, a mountain of the blessed ones.

The world-known ski resorts “Cheget” and “Azau” are situated here. Their snow-covered tracks give joy to climbers in all seasons. More than 35 km is the total length of the ski slopes here.

Dombay Resort is the place known for climbers of many countries. It’s the ideal place surrounded by chains of Caucasus Mountains. Last 10 years the snowboard festivals are held here. For those who prefer walks, there are pedestrian and horse rounds.

It’s impossible to say everything about winter rest and activities in Russia. The old russian proverb says, that it’s better to see once with your own eyes, than to hear for hundred times. Your own experience is the best way to enjoy the benefits of our snowy fairy tale.
