This restaurant is located in the city centre on the corner of the Nevsky Prospect and the Moika Canal in one of the oldest mansions of the city, originally built for the Russian Tzarina Elizabeth in 1737. Its spacious and lavishly decorated interior displays elaborately designed parquets, chandeliers and a mantelpiece of colored stones. It used to house the Nobel Assembly where many literary and musical celebrities performed for exclusive audiences. At present completely referbished palace interiors house a fasionable club with an excellent restaurant and one of the most prestigious casinos in the city (located on the floor above the restaurant).
